Refund Policy

Refund Consideration: Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of ContractForYou management.
1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered under exceptional circumstances only:
- Technical failures on our platform preventing service access
- Duplicate charges due to payment processing errors
- Extraordinary circumstances determined at our sole discretion
- Account has not been suspended or terminated for policy violations
2. What Can Be Refunded
2.1 May Be Eligible for Consideration
- Unused Credits: Only in cases of technical failure preventing usage
- Duplicate Purchases: Accidental duplicate transactions verified by payment records
- Service Interruption: Extended platform outages lasting more than 48 hours
2.2 Not Eligible for Refund
- Credits used for document downloads or premium features
- Subscription fees (recurring charges are final upon payment)
- Change of mind or dissatisfaction with service
- Free trial conversions (free credits are not refundable)
- Chargebacks initiated without first contacting support
- Requests made after service has been utilized
3. Refund Process
3.1 How to Request Consideration
- Email our support team at info@contractforyou.com
- Include your account email and purchase details
- Provide detailed explanation of exceptional circumstances
- Include any supporting documentation
- We'll respond within 5-10 business days
3.2 Processing Time
- Review: 5-10 business days to review your request
- Decision: Final decision at our sole discretion
- Processing: If approved, 10-15 business days through FastSpring
- Refund: 15-30 business days to appear in your account (varies by payment method)
4. Refund Methods
If a refund is approved, it will be processed through the same payment method used for the original purchase:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Refunded to the original card
- PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account
- Digital Wallets: Refunded to the original wallet
Important: We cannot process refunds to different payment methods than the original purchase. Refund approval is entirely at our discretion and not guaranteed.
5. Subscription Cancellations
For recurring subscriptions:
- Cancellation requests must be sent via email to info@contractforyou.com
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds provided for the current billing period under any circumstances
- Unused credits remain available until expiration
- Reactivation requires new subscription purchase
6. Dispute Resolution
6.1 Internal Resolution
All refund disputes must be resolved directly with our support team. Chargebacks or payment disputes initiated without prior contact may result in immediate account termination.
6.2 Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute:
- Your account will be immediately suspended during investigation
- We will provide comprehensive documentation to your payment provider
- Resolution typically takes 60-90 days
- Account access may not be restored even upon resolution
7. Special Circumstances
7.1 Technical Issues
If technical problems prevent you from using purchased credits:
- Contact support immediately with detailed technical documentation
- We may extend credit expiration at our discretion
- Refunds only considered for confirmed platform-wide technical failures
7.2 Service Changes
If we modify our service features:
- No refunds provided for service changes or updates
- Users accept that services may evolve and change
- Continued usage constitutes acceptance of changes
8. Enterprise and Custom Plans
Custom enterprise agreements follow the same refund policy unless explicitly stated otherwise in individual contracts.
9. Fraud Prevention
To prevent fraud, we reserve the right to:
- Verify identity for all refund requests
- Review all usage patterns before processing refunds
- Deny refunds for suspected fraudulent activity
- Report suspected fraudulent activity to authorities
- Terminate accounts involved in fraudulent refund requests
10. Tax Implications
Please note:
- Tax treatment of refunds varies by jurisdiction
- Consult your tax advisor for specific guidance
- We do not provide refund documentation for tax purposes
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this refund policy:
- Changes effective immediately for all purchases
- No grandfathering of previous policies
- Continued usage constitutes acceptance of policy changes
